TCP/IP Connection Problems
Problems with the TCP/IP network connection between the ClearSCADA servers and the remote computer are displayed in the Events List and they are also displayed as alarms on the various alarm displays.
The possible messages for TCP/IP connection failures are:
- Communications State - Failed: Invalid Host.
- Communications State - Failed: Unable to Connect to TCP/IP Port.
- Communications State - Failed: Assign to TCP/IP Port Failed.
If none of the above messages are displayed, the communication failure may be due to Serial Connection Problems.
