Attempt to Resolve Client Load and/or Network Problems
If your client(s) experience slow performance and there does not appear to be a high load on the ClearSCADA server, you should:
- Check the amount of memory that is available on the client. There should be enough memory to run ClearSCADA and any other applications that are required.
- The amount of memory that is needed will vary according to the requirements of your system.
- If there appears to be insufficient memory available, you may need to increase the amount of memory available or close other applications—contact Schneider Electric for advice.
- If there appears to be sufficient memory available, proceed to step 2.
- Contact your network administrator, as abnormal network conditions are the most likely cause of the slow performance issues. The network administrator needs to check for:
- Network structure problems
- Connection problems
- Excessive network traffic
- Insufficient bandwidth.
