This status attribute displays the path that the scanner is using. The information that is displayed varies, depending on the type of connection.
With a scanner that uses an MPI or PPI serial connection to communicate with a Simatic S7 device, the Current Path attribute indicates which port the channel is using.
With a scanner that communicates using ISO over TCP, the Current Path attribute displays the Host Address of the remote network device.
