For TCP communications, ClearSCADA:
- Uses channel(s) that have an ISO over TCP/IP Connection Type (see Configure the Connection Properties).
- Communicates use the following Simatic Industrial Ethernet modules:
- CP243 for the Simatic S7-200 series of PLCs
- CP343 for the Simatic S7-300 series of PLCs
- CP443 for the Simatic S7-400 series of PLCs.
