PIC

Each parameter (item of data) in a Trio Datacom radio is identified by its Parameter Identifier Code (PIC). The diagnostics parameters that can be retrieved from each Trio Datacom radio vary, depending on the radio series and type of radio unit (for example, a base station).

In the ClearSCADA database, you configure a Trio Diagnostics Point of the appropriate type for each item of diagnostics data that ClearSCADA is to retrieve from a Trio Datacom radio. You then use the Parameter field on each Trio Diagnostics Point Form to specify the PIC for which ClearSCADA is to retrieve diagnostics. The PIC identifies the diagnostics parameter that each database point represents. For more information, see Configure the Common Trio Diagnostics Point Properties.

With D Series radios, the diagnostics parameters are retrieved using Trio Diagnostics Analog points.
