Points Used on Trio Diagnostics Radios
In the ClearSCADA database, you need to configure one Trio Diagnostics Point per item of diagnostics information that you want to retrieve from a Trio Datacom radio. The Trio Diagnostics driver supports several types of point. Configure Trio Diagnostic points of the appropriate type to represent the type of data that you want the driver to retrieve.
The Trio Diagnostics driver supports these types of point:
- Trio Diagnostics Analog Point(see Configuring Analog Points)
D Series radios provide support for interrogation of fewer diagnostics parameters than other supported radio series. To retrieve any item of diagnostics data from a D Series radio, you associate that data with a Trio Diagnostics Analog Point.
- Trio Diagnostics Digital Point(see Configuring Digital Points)
- Trio Diagnostics String Point(see Configuring String Points).
You configure each point that you require using the appropriate Trio Diagnostics Point Form. Each Form has several tabs.
The properties on the Trio Diagnostics tab includes several driver-specific properties (see the appropriate reference above, and see Configure the Common Trio Diagnostics Point Properties).
For information on each <Point Type> tab (such as the Digital Point tab on the Trio Diagnostics Digital Point Form), see the appropriate reference above.
The properties on the other tabs are common to points on many drivers (see Tabs on Point Forms in the ClearSCADA Guide to Simple Drivers).
