Many of the series of Trio Datacom radios with which ClearSCADA can communicate provide SID support.
The Stream Identifier code (also known as the Stream ID or SID code) provides the addressing mechanism for data stream routing on radio networks that use multiple message streams. The SID code identifies the message stream that is used by a particular Trio Datacom radio on such a radio network.
ClearSCADA provides two configuration properties related to SID support:
- The Send SID check box on the Trio Diagnostics Channel Form (see Specify Whether to Include the Stream Identifier in each Data Packet)
- The Stream ID field on each Trio Diagnostics Radio Form (see Specify the Stream on which the Radio is to Transmit Messages).
