Home Pages
The online Help includes a number of Home pages. These are graphical displays that contain a collection of buttons that appear as a 'slideshow'. The buttons provide links out to commonly used content in the Help.
As with the What's New page, after a brief pause the slideshow buttons begin to scroll across the Home page that you are viewing. You can click on a slideshow button to go to the help topic (or other display) to which the button links.
While on a Home page, you can manually navigate the slideshow buttons using the arrow buttons to the left and right of the slideshow. Alternatively, you can select an entry from the row of 'bullets' that appear just below the slideshow. The bullets indicate the number of entries in the slideshow and the position (in the running order) of the left-most slideshow entry that is currently on display.
You can pause a slideshow by placing the cursor over one of the slideshow buttons.
The figure below shows sample Home pages—the actual images and buttons may differ depending on the version of ClearSCADA that is installed.
The main Home page displays when you access the Help from the Contents menu option in ViewX, or the Help button in WebX (see Display ClearSCADA Help). You can also display the main Home page by performing one of the following:
- Select the 'Schneider Electric' logo in the title bar of the Help window.
Or:
- Display the Contents tab and select the 'Welcome to ClearSCADA' option at the top of the tab.
To access the other Home pages, perform one of the following:
- On the main Home page, select the slideshow button that links out to the Home page you require.
Or:
- Display the Contents tab and select the top-level entry for the area of the Help for which you want to display a Home page.
If a Home page exists for the top-level entry, it will appear in the text display area.
Or:
- While a topic is on display, select the hyperlink in the topic header that links out to the Home page for that area of the Help. (For example, when displaying a topic in a driver guide, select the 'Driver Reference' hyperlink in the topic header, to display the 'Driver Reference' Home page.)
