Customize the WebX Interface
Your User Account settings determine the initial layout and availability of components in the WebX window. For example:
- Whether a 'Home Page' (such as a Mimic) is shown automatically whenever you log on
- Whether the Alarm Banner is displayed at the top or bottom of the WebX window
- The operator-level Explorer Bars to which you have access.
Your User Account settings also determine how much you can interact with the Alarm Banner. For example:
- Whether you can resize or remove the Alarm Banner
- Whether the Alarms List and Alarm Banner are pre-filtered to include only alarms in which you might be interested. (For example, only the alarms for a particular region of the system.)
When using the WebX interface, you can:
Providing that your User Account has the relevant settings enabled, you can arrange the windows in the WebX interface to suit your preferences. The available arrangement options are described in the following topics:
