Understand the Status Display
Each item’s Status Display provides information about that particular item’s current status, in the form of a list of status attributes. The attributes vary, depending on the type of item, its current state, the actions that have been performed on the item, and its configuration.
This section provides information about those status attributes that are common to many types of database item, or that are shown on the Status displays of ‘core’ items. With database items that are associated with a particular driver, further driver-specific status attributes are typically also shown. For information on any attributes that are not listed below, see the ClearSCADA Guide to Drivers, or the relevant driver guide. (The ClearSCADA Guide to Drivers lists those status attributes that are common to items on many drivers.)
Any status attribute that indicates an alarm status displays one of the Standard Alarm States.
Any status attribute that indicates a date and time displays that information using the syntax defined by the user’s Date Format (see Define the Regional Settings for a User in the ClearSCADA Guide to Security, and see Configuring the Guest and Web User Accounts in the ClearSCADA Guide to Security).
Many Status displays include these common or ‘core’ status attributes:
- Acknowledged Uncleared Alarms
- Alarm Count
- Alarm Last Updated
- Alarm State
- Configuration Change CRC
- Configuration Change Group CRC
- Created
- Disabled Alarms
- Exclusive Control User
- Full Name
- Id
- Last Modified
- Type
- Unacknowledged Cleared Alarms
- Unacknowledged Uncleared Alarms.
