Alarm Limits for WITS Rate of Change Points
You need to set the alarm limits for each WITS Rate of Change Point so that when the value of the point rises above or drops below the normal range of values, ClearSCADA raises a suitable alarm or logs an event.
WITS Rate of Change Points can have up to ten alarm limits that you can configure to suit your requirements. The Device Profile defines how many alarm limits a field device supports (see Display a WITS Device Profile).
Use the fields within the Alarm Limits section of the Rate of Change tab to specify the alarm limit properties.
The WITS Rate of Change Point is a type of Analog Input point. Therefore, many of the Alarm Limits fields for the point are the same as those for other WITS analog points (see Alarm Limits for WITS Analog Points).
