The Device Name attribute shows the model and name of the device type to which the device profile relates.
You can find the Device Name in the Device Identification section of the device profile ((see Display a WITS Device Profile))
A Field Device has a set of DNP3 device attributes that are read by ClearSCADA whenever it establishes communications with the Field Device. The Product Name and Model (ID:250) attribute should match the Device Name attribute in the device profile. If the names do not match, it might mean that you are using the wrong device profile.
