You can use the Import Program action to import an application program file into ClearSCADA. When you select Import Program, a browse window is displayed - locate the application program file to be imported and select OK. ClearSCADA imports the application program file and stores it in the Application Program item (for which you selected the Import Program action). The imported application program file overwrites any application program file that was previously stored in the Application Program item.
When the import is complete, you can download the Application Program to your Field Device, see Download Configuration (WITS Application Program).
NOTE: There is a special type of application program called a 'sub-component' which cannot be imported. If your Field Device supports application program sub-components, it can only import a single program that contains the configuration and all of its sub-components in a single file. The sub-components cannot be imported individually.
