WITS Field Devices support both the common DNP3 Device Attributes and WITS-specific Device Attributes. The topics in this section explain the Device Attributes that are WITS-specific. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.

ClearSCADA reads the Field Device's Device Attributes and stores them in the database. You can display them in the outstation's Status display. ClearSCADA displays both the common DNP3 attributes and the WITS-specific attributes.
ClearSCADA also:
- Uses the Bulk Configuration Version when it determines whether to download or upload the Bulk Configuration File.
- Uses the WITS Version to determine what features the Field Device supports.
