NOTE: The Start pick action is only available for Field Devices that support the stopping and starting of application programs. The device profile indicates whether the Field Device supports stopping and starting ((see Display a WITS Device Profile)).
You use the Start pick action to start the execution of an application program that isn't running. For example, an application program may not be running because the Field Device detected a problem with it. Once the problem has been rectified, you might use the Start pick action to restart the application.
NOTE: Depending on the Field Device, an application may automatically start after it has successfully downloaded or after the Field Device has been reset.
