The Supply attribute is a Health Check Status item.
The Field Device may be able to detect when its power supply has failed (for example, when a mains failure occurs). The Supply attribute shows the power supply status as it was last reported by the Field Device. If the Field Device does not have the capability to detect a supply failure, the Status display will not show this attribute.
The possible states are as follows:
- Failed
- Healthy.
If the attribute status is Failed, ClearSCADA may raise an alarm. To configure this alarm, you use the Severity settings in the Health Check Logging section of the WITS tab in the Outstation Form. The default setting is for ClearSCADA to raise an alarm ((see Define the Severity for Health Check Logging)).
The Battery Voltage status attribute may give an early warning of a future failure ((see Battery Voltage)).
