In ClearSCADA, you can import, view and export the device profiles that are supplied with your WITS Field Devices (by the device vendor). So you can use ClearSCADA as a repository for your WITS device profile XML files - if you need to use the XML file outside of ClearSCADA, you can export it. The exported XML file is exactly the same as the vendor-supplied XML profile you originally imported.
