Description
This property determines whether the timestamp of the data value at the time of acquisition is overwritten with the local timestamp of the Historian Server when the data value is received by the Historian Server. The property value indicates whether Wonderware Historian uses server timestamping for the tag. If the property value is True, then Wonderware Historian uses server timestamping.
Note that if a fast-changing tag is configured to use server timestamping, the packet of data that is sent to the storage subsystem may contain multiple data values with the same timestamp. This may affect data calculations, such as for swinging-door storage. This property applies to all tag types.
