Configuring X-Y Plots
Each X-Y Plot is represented in the database by an X-Y Plot database item. These items store the configuration settings for the X-Y Plots that define:
- The amount of data that is shown on each X-Y Plot
- The type of data that is shown on each X-Y Plot
- The time scale covered by each X-Y Plot
- The appearance of each X-Y Plot.
To create an X-Y Plot item and configure it so that it contains the information you require:
- Create an X-Y Plot Item
- Display an X-Y Plot in Design Mode
- Edit an X-Y Plot Item
- Configure the X-Y Plot Database Item Properties.
After configuring an X-Y Plot, you can proceed to view it in Run mode (see Using X-Y Plots).
