Move to the Previous Interval on an X-Y Plot

If you want to view data that was calculated and plotted for a time before the first time on the currently displayed interval, you need to use the Previous Interval tool.

When you use the Previous Interval tool, you force the X-Y Plot to display the data for the interval before the currently displayed interval. For example, if the current interval displays the data for 10.00-11.00, the Previous Interval tool will set the X-Y Plot to display the data for 09.00-10.00.

To move to the previous interval on an X-Y Plot:

  1. Display an X-Y Plot in Run Mode.

NOTE: The Previous Interval tool is also available when you are configuring the X-Y Plot in Design mode.

  2. Either:
    1. Right-click on the Time Line to display a context-sensitive menu.
    2. Select the Previous Interval option.

    Or:

    1. Select the Home tab on the ViewX ribbon.
    2. Select the Previous Interval command from the relevant command group.

    Or:

    • Press the F3 function key.

To move forward to the next interval, use the Next Interval tool (see Move to the Next Interval on an X-Y Plot).

NOTE: You can also use the Pan tool to move to the previous interval (see Pan to a Different Time on an X-Y Plot).
