Wonderware Historian Export
Associated with: All points and accumulators in ClearSCADA with Historic data enabled.
Security permission: Configure.
Use the Wonderware Historian Export attribute to find out the Wonderware Historian tag name for the selected ClearSCADA point or accumulator. There is one attribute for each Wonderware Historian database item that you have configured. This is because the tag names could be different for each Wonderware Historian item. This could occur if:
- You move or rename the point or accumulator between creating each Wonderware Historian item
- The Wonderware Historian items have different prefixes set.
ClearSCADA will not display this attribute until it exports the first data for the selected point or accumulator. You can therefore use this as an indication of whether or not ClearSCADA has exported any data for the selected point or accumulator.
If you delete a Wonderware Historian database item, then ClearSCADA will delete the relevant attribute from all points and accumulators.
A user can rename or move a point or accumulator in ClearSCADA after HCAL creates the Wonderware Historian tag for it. In this situation, the tag name will not match the ClearSCADA database item's current name.
The attribute shows the following information on two lines for each export:
- The first line shows the name of the ClearSCADA Wonderware Historian export database item to which this attribute refers
- The second line shows the name of the tag created by HCAL for the selected ClearSCADA point or accumulator. This tag name is associated with the Wonderware Historian shown in the first line. The name has the following format:
[<prefix>.]<object name>.<aggregate name>
There is a blank line between each export entry.
